Longtime Fairfield County resident, physician and attorney, Dr. Michael T. Goldstein M.D., J.D., announced that he has unofficially secured enough verified petitions to force a
Republican primary on August 9, 2022.
Goldstein, a Board certified Ophthalmologist, and longtime resident of Greenwich, is challenging US Representative Jim Himes for his seat, and needs to win a Republican
primary in order to do so. Goldstein has served on numerous boards and committees in 4 decades of serving his patients, including the New York County Medical Society, where he
served as President for two consecutive terms.
Goldstein won 18 of 156 delegates in the District Convention, and he will face
Darien's First Selectwoman Jayme Stevenson on August 9th.
