VENEZUELA, PORTLAND AND CHICAGO – HOW THEY ARE CONNECTED

Venezuela is the Hub of Hate America

The increased hostilities by the American military with Venezuela are for a damn good reason.  As shown below, this country is the linchpin for a wide range of anti-American activities directed at disrupting and destroying this country.  The way the media has covered these three topics misleads the public.  There are in fact very important connections that require putting Maduro in the cross-hairs.

Let’s Start with Venezuela

The Internet will tell you that Venezuela is not a communist country.  But they support communist movements all throughout the Americas.  Support is provided both through political movements and criminal activity.  OK, so maybe the Internet doesn’t  have that quite right.

The Internet will tell you that Venezuela isn’t really a socialist country though it has some socialist features.  They will point to state capitalism as a more descriptive feature.  However, the reader must be reminded that the most famous practitioner of state capitalism was the former Soviet Union.  Russia still carries on the tradition of state capitalism as well.  China also relies on state capitalism. Whatever ideological label you want to slap on, it is still about tyranny and the over-centralization of authority.

So, as far as political labels go, the Internet gives us a muddled picture.  They is, but they ain’t.  But what they are is anti-American; thoroughly anti-American.  Still, to add to the confusion, their impulses to state capitalism with odd characteristics remain as well.  Chevron decided to keep providing services and support to the illegal Maduro regime because when they leave, it would be a Chinese oil company which would take their place.

Even if this creates some degree of ideological confusion in the mind of Maduro, it doesn’t stop him from doing everything he can to ultimately destroy America with criminal gangs, drugs, violence, and anything else he can use.  Drug use remains the soft underbelly of America.  So, given they are in a position to exploit it, Venezuela will continue to smuggle drugs into America.  So, the American military finally dealing with this problem is of vital importance to our national security.

Venezuela Remains The Hub for Tyrannical State Capitalism AND Communism

Should Maduro be put out of business, and a more pro-Western government takes its place, communist and communist-adjacent groups will also be out of business.  Support for Cuba will be gone.  Pressure on Guyana will be gone.  Support for other revolutionary groups throughout South America will be gone.  Tren de Aragua and related drug cartel groups will be gone.  Hezbellolah will have to find another  base of operations.  Cooperation with Brazil will be gone.

All or most of whatever deals there are with China and Russia will be gone as well. 

Meantime, Venezuelan support of Tren De Aragua continues.  It has reached a point where America has no choice to intervene.  Until such time as these cartels are utterly destroyed they will remain a threat to America and, increasingly, to the world at large.  To get a real sense of this, look for our piece on Narco-Submarine Fleets in the next couple weeks.

Now, What About Portland?

Has Tren de Aragua been in Portland, Oregon?  Well, according to the  all wise Internet, yes.  A query on that point will turn up information about reports of groups affiliated with Tren de Aragua operating in Portland.  That they would have nothing to do with Antifa in a city ruled by Antifa seems highly unlikely.  The more likely outcome is cooperation where they both benefit from each others capabilities and assets.

The typical liberal retort would be something like this:  Tren De Agua is criminal organization primarily devoted to making money from drugs.  Antifa is about political “protest” and nothing more.

There might be some prostitution, and human trafficking involved.  You can count on them to bribe local officials to look the other way.  Bribing local officials would be one of those unexpected places where the paths of antifa and Tren De Aragua would cross.  It is of mutual interest to compromise local law enforcement.

Moreover, antifa has made Portland the perfect place for Tren De Aragua to set up operations.  All of this suggests it is more likely they work together.

Meantime, in Chicago

Chicago was one of the earliest places to report on the appearance of Tren De Aragua. Moreover, because Chicago is one of the homes of left-wing activism, it is no surprise that antifa would be there as well.  Like Portland, Chicago is fertile ground for the criminal organizations such as Tren De Aragua.  It is not unreasonable to speculate about an imagined meeting between the two groups where they develop a plan that provides mutual benefit.  Antifa can help make the police look the other way.  Tren De Aragua can help fund some of their activities.  Who knows what other possible forms of cooperation there could be with them and with related criminal groups?

Chicago is a place filled with probably the most opportunity for criminal activity.  There is an embedded community devoted to attacking the government and others.  Who knows? There could even be cooperation with elements of the mafia in Chicago. 

Since ICE and other elements of the government are intensifying their efforts, maybe, eventually, more will be learned about the ways in which these criminal elements work together.

Conclusion:  Different Names, Same Goals

When the all wise Internet is asked “what are the connections between antifa and Tren De Aragua?” you don’t get much of an answer.  By the above, it should be obvious even if there is not blatant and explicit evidence.  The Internet response is not helpful.  They refer to what information they can find algorithmically.  Google could be suppressing the information. So, for reasons not explained, there seems to be little reporting on the connection.  The most likely explanation is that the two groups want it that way.  Two terrorist organizations working together becomes truly unacceptable to the American people.

One can argue for another distinction between the two groups.  One spends time confronting federal authorities, the other spends time avoiding them.  That still does not eliminate the two of them working together behind the scenes.

So the assertion here is that it is very likely that the two groups work together for obvious reasons.  Yet, yes, the  evidence for the connection is not strong.  Further investigation is needed  to answer the question:  How closely, and  in what ways, do these two organizations work together?  Also, arguably, they have two different paymasters.  It is highly likely that antifa is funded in large part by George Soros-related organizations, while Tren De Aragua has support from the Venezuelan government (even though they deny it), they manage to fund themselves from the drug trade.  Moreover, while the two groups don’t “need” each other, but they certainly benefit from each other.

That the Trump administration is finally putting real pressure on these two groups is reassuring.  It is the job of the American people to keep supporting efforts to remove these groups that would destroy us.
